Ask for the card template, bleed, safe area, accepted file type, color naming rules, minimum line weights, minimum type size, registration tolerance, and instructions for finish layers. Build the final file from that document.
Which finish should a brand choose?
Choose a finish that supports a specific element such as the mark, name, pattern, or tactile hierarchy. A finish that touches every element can flatten the hierarchy and raise production risk.
